• Question: when do you think people will be able to go up to space for a day trip?

      There are a few companies tying to make a space plane, so it might not be too long (few years), but I think it would be very expensive.

      I agree with Katie, probably a few years. Expected prices are around $250.000,- at the moment. But this amount of money won’t get you a day trip, it will be a flight to 60miles altitude so you can say you’ve officially been to space..

      Real day trips might take a few more years, and will be quite a bit more expensive.

      Google private space trip companies like Virgin & Xcor and you’ll see what they have to offer.
