And that’s what’s great about it. Sometimes I’m working in a hospital as an anaesthetist (which is supposed to be my main job), some days I’m in a helicopter as a doctor with Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust HEMS, sometimes I’m abroad interviewing people for radio documentaries, sometimes I’m lecturing students at UCL, and lately I’ve been spending a lot of time at the Royal Institution getting ready for the CHRISTMAS LECTURES.

Computer science.. or English Literature
What did you want to be after you left school?
A space scientist, but I didn’t really know
Were you ever in trouble at school?
All the time. Nothing I can share in a public forum though.
