• Question: Is There Special Space Illnesses?

      Hi Cyborg,

      That’s a great question. There aren’t that many “illnesses” that occur in space that cant happen on Earth in someway shape or form. There is however an increased risk of radiation, more so than what we have on Earth, and also an something called “space adaptation syndrome”, which is related to motion sickness as the vestibular (balance) system adapts to weightlessness.
