• Question: Did your faith change or become strong based on what you see on outside of Earth?

      Hi,
      I have never left Earth. As I understand more and more about the universe it seems an incredible creation. Whether you believe that to be caused by the Big Bang or a God is a personal belief for each individual.

      In Space Psychology it is actually a known fact that the spirituality of several Astronauts became stronger after they experienced spaceflight and life in orbit. The effect of seeing the entire planet Earth out of the window or from the surface of the Moon has been described as particularly inspiring and in many cases life changing. “Spirituality” does not necessarily mean “faith”, however, and “several” Astronauts does not mean “all”. In general a deep experience can change the way you feel or think about life, whether in terms of religion or other approach. Some of us had similar feelings after living in the special Antarctic landscape for a year. Be it faith or not, i think you always end up being more conscious about many things.
