• Question: Do you think Space travel/the ISS can be used to improve international relations?

      Yes- this is one very important part of human space flight.

      Absolutely – and it already has and continues to do so!

      Check out all the countries and the fact that they are always mixed nation crews who get on perfectly: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_International_Space_Station_expeditions

      The crews all train together and work together for 3 years – they are very close friends and colleagues for life. That’s international relations that no other industry or organisation not even the UN has managed to do as well as ISS.

      Plus – I’m an Australian/Italian working on the ISS Program – that’s pretty International! 🙂
