  Yes, we do.Space is a pretty harsh environment. The vibration from launch is pretty high, and requires our equipment to work in a vacuum. Temperatures range from -270 degrees C to several hundred degrees C. Radiation effects cause all kinds of issues for electronics and materials. We have to ensure that our electronics do not interfere with anything else on the spacecraft.
  
  There is no magic way to Space-proof things. It’s all down to very careful design and analysis, very careful building and lots and lots of testing.
