      A lot!

The suit worn by space shuttle astronauts weighed about 50 kg, but when you add in the full life support system, that goes up to 140 kg – that’s twice the weight of an averaged-sized adult women. On Earth it would be impossible for one person to move a suit, but in space nothing has any weight, so it works perfectly for space walks.
