  For the first few days back on Earth most astronauts have their standardised food given to them and this allows for comparisons to be made between different astronauts to see how their body adapts to being back on Earth.
  
  But this really depends on what particular experiment that astronaut is involved in and if it is a food/nutritional study.
  
  After a while the astronauts are released from the lab and are able to enjoy a few treats!
