      I wanted to be an astronaut and a nurse- I ended up a physio and space scientist, so pretty close I think! Space still inspires me everyday, and I love working in the space industry.

      A Space Engineer working on the International Space Station so pretty happy to be working on this!

      I also worked in lots of other jobs while studying that were great life experiences even though they had nothing to do with my eventual career. While working as a normal engineer to gain enough experience to apply for the ISS Flight Control I became a Mining Engineer by chance – I really liked working underground, in the process plant, in the desalination plant and in the desert on extreme mining engineering. I liked it so much I almost didn’t leave, but I had to give my space dream job a shot!
