I’d like to visit the Moon. There are a few reasons I’d like to go to the Moon:

1.it’s not too far away, so the flight it quite short- only 3 days, compared to months to getr to Mars. I get bored quite easily, so being able to get to the Moon and go for a walk sounds quite nice.

      2. I’d like to see Earthrise like the Apollo 8 Crew. They were the first people to ever fly behind the Moon, and on Christmas day in 1968 they took a very famous picture of arising crescent Earth. It must have been a very memorable Christmas Celebration that year!

You can see the Earth from Mars, but it looks very small, just likeMars looks very small to us on Earth.

In this picture, taken from the Curiosity Rover on Mars, the Earth is a little teeny tiny white dot in the middle of the sky.

      3. The gravity on the moon is less than on Earth, it’s only about 1/3 as strong, so I think a trampoline would be really good fun to play with on the Moon because you could bounce really high.

Jupiter. Think of the epic engineering required to allow humans to explore it close up and survive! It’s massive – so much to explore! I wonder what it’s like ‘under the surface’? I wonder what that red spot is like close up and why is is shrinking??
