Hi Kieran,
The Earth is pretty big and around the equater measures 25,000 miles!
The Earth is bigger than Mars (13,000 miles) but nowhere near the size of our Sun (2.7 million miles!).

Note that because of the rotation and hence gravitational forces, the Earth is widest around the equator! If you measure from pole to pole, it’s circumference is less.

What the other guys said 🙂
If you tried to walk around the equator of the Earth it would take you 9 years!!
