0 Question: how much does a black hole weigh?? Keywords: black hole, weight Asked by ShannonRooney to Andrea, Charlie 🚀, Col Op, Kirsty, Vinita on 17 Jun 2016.
Kirsty Lindsay answered on 17 Jun 2016:
Black holes are stars that have been squished under tremendous pressure into 1 singularity- which is a fancy name for a very very very very very small space.
So they weigh as much as the original star.
Charles Laing answered on 17 Jun 2016:
Hi ShannonRooney,
A black hold can actually ‘weigh’ anything from 1 gram to the mass of the entire visible universe!!

Andrea Boyd answered on 17 Jun 2016:
Like Charlie and Kirsty said – Depends on the black hole.
