      itโ€™s about 490 light years from Earth

      โ€œKepler 186fโ€ is a planet orbiting a star called โ€œKepler 186โ€. The names are not a coincidence. Itโ€™s just the way we name stars and planets until we find a better name for them. This star and all its planets (we found 5 so far) are all 490 light-years away from Earth.
