      The ISS runs on GMT as it’s the only timezone that doesn’t change with daylight savings. Convenient for working at ISS Control in Europe! 😀

      In the early years of ISS they would sometimes have to move time zones from Russia to America, depending on which flight control team was working with them- it was called shift slamming. Sometimes they would have very long days and get tired- so now ISS only uses GMT; at the moment they are 1 hour ahead of the UK.
