  Love this question! If I understand the physics of the lava lamp, then yes, it should work in space also. I am sure the astronauts would love to take one and try. Always nice to have something beautiful to look at inside the laboratory.

I Have a Lava Lamp in my bedroom and i think it looks really cool but in space it would look much cooler because space is weightless!!!!
