      You can get ‘sunburnt’, in fact even more so in space as you’re not protected by the ozone layer (that filters out most of the nasty stuff here on earth)

      You absolutely can. And it is a different burn, indeed. Our atmosphere does a great job in protecting us from the “nasty ” part of the solar radiation (the UV), but if you are in space you are getting hit by it directly. Not nice. But that’s something we think about when building space suits, so the space suit is protecting the astronaut from the UV radiation as well. 🙂
