• Question: Would you go on the one way Mars mission?

      Hi astroboy – I would only go if I could come back, I think I would miss Earth too much and especially friends and family back here 🙂

      I would if I was very old or was only likely to live a short while longer – just to see it. But like the others, I would not go one a one-way trip now.

      Living – and being stuck – in Antarctica for a year has taught me one thing: that there is so much amazing stuff in the world to see seen, experienced, tasted and enjoyed, even if we take if for granted sometime. Even the beauty and exoticness of this place is not worth giving all that up for. This is true of Mars – it’s even more exotic and full of wonder – but you’re also giving up a lot of the wonderful things that Earth has!
