      For the adventure!

      That’s about it. I had read about the old explorers, and read the blogs of people who went more recently and I found it both fascinating and exciting. I had a quick look to see if there were any jobs and there was one, so I applied. I didn’t think I’d get it but I did and a year later I was here 🙂

      Lots of people have their own reasons for coming down here, but I think most of us here come to experience this place, so different from life anywhere in the world – and in a small way, a bit like life in space…
