• Question: What would happen to a dead body that was left in space for a long time?

      If the body is near a heat source (say in sunlight), it will dry and mummify. If not, it’ll freeze. Either way, it will last quite a long time in space without any further decay. Unless it’s in a space suit. Then it will decompose naturally, like it would on Earth, until the oxygen runs out in the suit. Interesting question! 😀
