• Question: What will you miss most about earth when you are in space?

      Squeak! Monkonaut Sam here helping Andrew with his questions.

      This one is perfect for me as a monkonaut because I’ve actually been to space and he hasn’t. Being in space is really cool, but it does also mean missing direct contact with your family for a long period of time, although you can Skype! For me as well, they start to run out of fresh bananas after a while, and that’s not so good either.

      If I ever get to go to space, I think I’d miss certain smells – flowers, fresh coffee (although I think they’ve got it on ISS now), maybe certain perfumes.
