      Hi Molly,

I think for me this would have to be when I the award for being the outstanding student of space medicine in 2013 🙂 It was presented in Chicago in the US by NASA astronaut Scott Parazynski and JAXA astronaut Chiaki Mukai! I had been watching Scott a few months earlier doing one of the more risky space walks during construction of the ISS when he was fixing one of the large solar arrays that have become jammed while they were moving it. So to meet him and get an award all at once was one of the awesomest moments for me. It is always special to meet your heros 🙂

It’s absolutely got to be when ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen wore the Skinsuit to the International Space Station in September this year. There was a photo taken of him on CEVIS – the bicycle they exercise on – wearing the skinsuit and I beamed with pride! Everything I had been working towards for the past 3 years was validated in one photo! That’s what I live for; moments like that! Here’s to many more 😀

The day I defended and received my PhD was a really proud moment. Years of work finally paid off and my friends and family who supported me through all of it were all there to see me finish. 😀
