• Question: Is there really a perso in mission control called Huston

      When the astronauts radio down and call “houston” they could be talking to any of the controllers who have lots of different names. The mission control building in America, is in the city called Houston, in Texas. The astronauts are actually calling the city “Houston”, not a person.

      I suppose you could be called Houston though, and if a controlled worked in Houston and was called Houston, that could be fun .. or confusing! 🙂

      To follow-up on Andrew’s comment: I went to school in Texas with someone named Houston. This could totally happen. 😉
