      Oooh it varies – but always a lot!

      A rocket costs between £20 million and £100 million, which is a lot! It depends how high the satellite needs to go, and how heavy it is.

      The satellite you put on top is also expensive, because of the amount of care that needs to go into making it perfectly. It is hard to say what they might cost, but between £50 million and a £200 million, maybe? For the really most complex things, like space telescopes or the space station, it could be a lot more.
