      I’m excited about his mission! I can’t wait till he rides up there and becomes the first British astronaut 🙂 I have been following the journeys of the other European astronauts and they look so cool.

      I’m not directly involved in this mission though. I work more on unmanned satellites rather than with the astronaut operations! But a lot of the ideas and technologies are the same….

      I will be in a live chat that morning on this website and then I am responsible for tweeting launch updates for a UK space organisation 🙂 I will be watching the mission online.       I am excited to also be doing research that could help all the astronauts, not just Tim, from getting back pain or injuries when they come back from space 🙂 Its great to be part of the world wide team who work in human spaceflight!

      Since you asked about human spaceflight! I made a video for you to explain what will happen during Tim’s launch this Tuesday so you can watch live and understand what is happening 🙂

      Yes very! At one point he was actually going to be wearing the Skinsuit I work with during his mission, but we didn’t quite have enough time to get it ready, but he will have plenty more things to be getting on with! Maybe he will get to again one day and wear it 🙂 Hopefully another astronaut will wear it next year 😀

      Are you excited to watch? There will be many ways you can watch the launch online, or you can come along to the Science Museum – they will be showing the launch live! I’ll be there too with the rest of the Skinsuit team and lots of other colleagues showing all sorts of cool spacey things… Exciting 😀

      I’m very excited about his mission! And he’ll be helping us put some educational material together for schools about our BIOROCK mission.
