If you asked me this 3 months ago I would have said no… but now I can say yes 🙂 The Skinsuit was worn on ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen to the ISS in September this year – we were so happy!! So it has been in his space for the whole time he was – 8 days! We are hoping for it to go back next year on another astronaut for much longer. Check out the photo of Andreas wearing the skinsuit on my profile /launch-zone/profile/juliaattias/ 🙂
Yes, several times! Parts I designed in 2011 and 2012 were added to some satellites that got launched recently. I also had some bad luck, as two satellites with parts I made on didn’t launch properly and came crashing back to Earth! Not because of the part I made, though 🙂
The parts I worked on then were part of the attitude control system, which is the system to work out which was the satellite is pointing – not easy when there is no ground or feeling of gravity!
