• Question: do you think pluto should still be a planet?

      Pluto is still a planet 🙂 just a dwarf one. This kind of makes sense as it is much smaller than the other planets in our solar system. It was a bit confusing before because we called pluto a planet, but things that are bigger than it is were not planets. The naming system takes all that into account now 🙂 so dwarf planet probably makes sense.

      I agree with Andrew but I think Pluto will always have a special place in peoples hearts as a former Planet. So perhaps its better to say that Pluto has gone from being the smallest (least known) planet to the best known Dwarf Planet.

      I appreciate the scientific reasoning for reassigning Pluto to a dwarf planet, but to me, it’ll always be a planet. 😉
